1. Scope
This policy applies to individual event-registration payments made to Jordan Valley Conferences & Exhibitions Services through jordan-valley.com, an event page, or payment instructions issued by Jordan Valley.
Sponsorships, exhibition packages, group bookings, hotel blocks, travel arrangements and services governed by a separate proposal or contract follow the terms of that agreement. A congress may also publish specific cancellation deadlines or non-refundable items; where those terms are clearly disclosed before payment, they take priority for that transaction.
2. Payment methods
Available methods may vary by event. Jordan Valley currently supports:
- Online card payment: card transactions are processed through the secure MEPS payment service when online payment is available.
- CliQ: payments may be sent to the confirmed Jordan Valley alias JORDANVALL.
- Bank transfer: transfers may be made to the account shown on the Online Payment page or in the event's approved payment instructions.
Always confirm the beneficiary and payment instructions on the official Jordan Valley website or directly with our team before transferring funds. Do not rely on bank details forwarded from an unknown source.
3. Amounts, currencies and charges
- Fees are charged in the currency displayed for the relevant event or payment item, normally Jordanian dinars (JOD) or US dollars (USD).
- Your bank or card provider may apply exchange rates, transfer fees or international transaction charges. These charges are outside Jordan Valley's control and are normally paid by the payer.
- Unless an event page states otherwise, payment must be made in full. A submitted form, transfer instruction or payment attempt does not reserve a place until payment is received and confirmed.
- Taxes, service charges and included items will be stated on the relevant event or accommodation offer where applicable.
4. Payment confirmation
Keep your payment receipt and transaction reference. Card payments should receive an on-screen or email reference. For CliQ and bank transfers, you may be asked to provide the payer's name, amount, date and transfer reference so the payment can be matched to your registration.
A debit from your account is not by itself confirmation of event registration. Registration is confirmed when Jordan Valley or the event organizer issues a registration confirmation.
5. Cancelling a registration
To request cancellation, email info@jordan-valley.com at least seven calendar days before the scheduled event date.
Your request should include:
- The registered participant's full name and email address.
- The event name and registration category.
- The payment amount, method and transaction or registration reference.
- A brief reason for cancellation and any relevant supporting information.
We aim to acknowledge a complete written request within 48 hours. The cancellation is not final until you receive written confirmation.
6. Refund eligibility and timing
- At least seven days before the event: an eligible individual registration cancellation receives a full refund of the registration fee paid.
- Less than seven days before the event: the registration fee is normally non-refundable.
- No-show: no refund is normally available if the participant does not attend and did not cancel within the required period.
- Exceptional circumstances: illness, family emergency or serious travel disruption may be reviewed individually. An exception is discretionary and may require supporting documents.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where reasonably possible within 14 business days after cancellation is confirmed. Banks and payment providers may require additional time before the credit appears.
7. Event cancellation, postponement or material change
If Jordan Valley or the event owner cancels an event, registered participants will be notified and the registration fee paid will be refunded in full.
If an event is postponed or materially changed, the registration will normally remain valid for the revised arrangements. Jordan Valley will communicate the available options, deadlines and any event-specific refund process to registered participants.
Unless required by law or expressly stated for the event, Jordan Valley is not responsible for separate costs such as flights, visas, insurance, accommodation booked independently or loss of earnings. Participants should use flexible arrangements and suitable travel insurance.
8. Failed, duplicate or incorrect payments
If a payment appears to fail, check your bank account before trying again. Contact us if you see a duplicate debit or entered the wrong amount. Once verified, an accidental duplicate or overpayment will be returned to the original payment method or otherwise resolved with the payer.
Do not initiate a chargeback without first contacting Jordan Valley to investigate an unrecognized or disputed transaction. This does not limit any rights available through your card issuer or applicable law.
9. Registration substitutions
A participant substitution may be accepted before the event where the event owner and registration category permit it. Requests must be made in writing and are not effective until approved. Any difference in registration category or fee must be settled before confirmation.
10. Payment information and privacy
Jordan Valley keeps payment references and accounting records needed to confirm transactions, issue refunds and meet financial obligations. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are not intended to be stored by this website. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
11. Contact us
